TET Assam Recruitment 2025: The application process for 4,500 posts begins tomorrow!

TET Assam Recruitment 2025: The Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam, has announced recruitment drive for Assistant Teacher positions in Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) schools for a total for 4500 vacancies. The date for receiving online applications has now been scheduled from 8th March, 2025 to 8th April, 2025. Read the article to know more and apply before 8th April, 2025.

Earlier the application process was to be started from 8th of January, 2025 but due to unforeseen administrative circumstances, the deadline for submitting online applications for these teacher positions was revised.

TET Assam Recruitment 2025: Vacancies

Pay Scale

• The candidate selected under the TET Assam Recruitment 2025 will receive a pay of Rs.14,000 – 70,000/- per month with Pay Band – 2.
• As per Assam Service (Revision of Pay) Rules, 2019, grade pay and allowances will be provided.

Eligibility Criteria

For applying for the TET Assam Recruitment 2025 must ensure their eligibility as per the criteria given below –

Nationality

• Candidates must be Indian citizens and permanent residents of Assam as per Articles 5-8 of the Indian Constitution.

Age Limit (as of 1st January 2025)

Note – 5% relaxation in marks for SC/ ST/ OBC/ MOBC & PwD candidates.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed Assam TET (ATET) or Central TET (CTET).

Additional Requirements

• Candidates must have either Language-I or Language-II in ATET/ CTET matching the school’s medium of instruction.
• The betterment/ improvement of marks will only be considered for one attempt and in the same subjects.

Selection Procedure

The selection process for the TET Assam Recruitment 2025 will be strictly based on the merit of the candidate, considering the reservation quotas.

Merit Calculation

The merit will be calculated on the basis of –

• Academic Qualifications –
  • 5% marks will be considered from Higher Secondary (HSSLC) / Graduation
  • 5% marks will be considered from D.El.Ed / B.Ed
  • 80% marks will be considered from TET Score (LP/UP)
• Additional Marks Preference –
  • NCC Certificate –
    • “C” Certificate holder will be granted 5 marks bonus
    • “B” Certificate holder will be granted 3 marks bonus
  • Sports (National Level participation) will be granted 5 marks bonus
  • Fine Arts & Cultural Activities (National Level participation) will be granted 5 marks bonus

Note – If a candidate has all three qualifications, the maximum bonus marks will be 5.

5. D.El.Ed/B.Ed Marksheet & Certificate
6. ATET/CTET Certificate & Scorecard
7. Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) of Assam
8. Caste Certificate (for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC candidates)
9. Disability Certificate (if applicable)
10. Ex-Servicemen Certificate (if applicable)
11. Scanned Signature

Note –

1. All documents must be in color and scanned properly.
2. Candidates must ensure the authenticity of all uploaded documents. Any discrepancy will lead to cancellation.

Application Process

The application process to apply for TET Assam Recruitment 2025 are as follows –

1. Interested candidates must visit the official website given below.
2. Click on the ‘Assam TET Recruitment 2025’ link and register using mobile number or email ID.
3. Create a strong password and log in to the portal to fill the application form.
4. Provide the required details as asked in the application and select the district you prefer to apply for. Please note, only one district is allowed per application.
5. Upload the supporting document in the correct format and size.
6. Preview the application and then, submit the document.
7. An Unique Application Number will be generated, take a printout for future reference.

1. After submission, candidates should check their email/SMS for confirmation.
