UPSC IES ISS 2022 registration started; Age limit, key dates, know how to apply now

The Union Public Service Commission has started the registration process for economic and statistical services or UPSC IES ISS 2022 examinations. The online application forms are now available for the interested candidates from the 6th of April on the official website of UPSC and will be available up to the 26th of April 2022. The Indian Economic Services and Indian Statistical Services Examination for this year shall be conducted on the 24th of June.

How to apply for UPSC IES ISS 2022?

For candidates looking forward to applying for UPSC IES and ISS examination, here are steps to follow:

1. First of all, go to the official website of the Union Public Service Commission.
2. Then look for the online application form button and click on it.
3. Doing this will open up a new webpage on the screen. Two registration forms will be displayed. From there you will get to register yourself for further procedures.
4. Complete the registration step with care, and kindly note that the registered phone number and email address will be used for communication in the future.
5. Upon successful completion of filling the online application forms and payment procedure, take out a printout of the payment receipt along with the application form for future references.

UPSC IES ISS 2022 exam pattern

A candidate can make their UPSC IES and ISS examination payments right after successful completion of the online application form fill-up process by choosing the payment method to pay the exam fees as per their wish from the provided options on the screen.

For candidates belonging to general and other backward classes or OBC, the payment amount is Rs 100. For female candidates, and for candidates from the scheduled tribe (ST) and scheduled caste (SC), the amount to be paid is zero. These candidates do not have to pay any money to sit in the IES and ISS examination.

UPSC IES ISS 2022 age limit

In order to appear in the UPSC IES and ISS examination, a candidate’s age must be in between 21 years and 30 years. In accordance with the 1st of August 2022, the age of a candidate must not exceed 30 years and must not be below 21 years.
