Water Resource Department Recruitment 2025: The Assam Public Commission Service (APSC) has released an official notification with ADVT No. 13/2025, inviting online applications for the Assistant Engineer (AE) posts under the Water Resources Department. Pay Scale

The candidate selected under the Water Resource Department Recruitment 2025 for AE positions will receive a pay of Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 1,10,000/- with a Grade pay of Rs. 12,700/-, under the Pay Band – 4 category.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• The candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering/ technology in civil engineering (B.E/ B.Tech in civil engineering) from an Indian or foreign university recognized by the government.
• OR, Candidate must have passed AMIE (India) in Civil Engineering, only if enrolled before 31-05-2013.
• The degree must be a regular course recognized by AICTE/ UGC.
• Applications from candidates having Bachelor’s degrees in Engineering/ Technology obtained through distance mode of education will not be accepted.

Age Limit

• As of 01/01/2025, the age of candidates selected under the Water Resource Department Recruitment 2025 for AE positions can be a minimum of 21 and a maximum of 38.

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
  • PwBD: 10 years

Other Criteria

• Candidates must possess a valid Employment Exchange Card from the Govt of Assam.
• Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam.
• Candidates must submit a Small Family Norms Declaration Form.
