APSC AEGCL AAO Recruitment 2024: The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released the advertisement for the Assistant Accounts Officer (AAO) of Assam Electricity Grid Corporation Limited (AEGCL). The application portal for APSC AAO 2024 opened on the 7th of June, 2024. Interested candidates will have time up to the 14th of July, 2024 to submit their forms.

Pay Scale

The remuneration for candidates selected in the APSC AEGCL AAO Recruitment 2024 will include salary and other allowances. The salary details are given below:

Eligibility

• The candidate applying for APSC AEGCL AAO Recruitment 2024 must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to B of the Constitution of India and must be a permanent resident of Assam and should have proficiency in Assamese/ Local language
• The Candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purposes as proof of residency along with the application form OR The candidate must produce an Employment Exchange Registration certificate in the state of Assam along with the application form.

Age

The candidates applying for APSC AEGCL AAO Recruitment 2024 should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as of 01/01/2024. Relaxations in the upper age limit shall be as given below:

• SC/ ST: 5 years
• OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years
• Ex-Serviceman: The maximum age shall be 50 (Fifty) years as of 01/01/2023 for the Unreserved category, relaxable further by 3 (Three) years for OBC/ MOBC candidates and 5 (Five) years for SC/ ST candidates

Educational Criteria

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent in B.Com in aggregate or 55% marks in Honors/Major subject (B.Com) or minimum 55% aggregate marks or its equivalent for Arts or Science graduate having Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subject or 55% marks or its equivalent in lVlathematicsiStatistics as Honors (BA/ B.Sc).
• For departmental candidates and those belonging to the Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe minimum qualification mark in a bachelor’s degree is 50%.
• Possess proficiency in computer application and have a diploma certificate in computer application with a minimum duration of 3 (three) months.

Documents Required

• Class-X/ Class-XlI Examination, Admit Card/ Pass Certificate/ Marksheet issued by Central/ State Board indicating Date of Birth in support of their claim of age
• Certificates of HSLC to Graduation document
• Caste certificate (if Applicable)
• Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC)
• Employment Exchange Number PwBD certificate (wherever Necessary)
• No Objection Certificate (For Govt. Employee)
• Small Family Norms Declaration (Given Below)
