Age Limit

• The age should not be more than 38 years as of 01/01/2024.

Educational Criteria

• The educational qualification and selection procedure in Mangaldai College Assistant Professor Recruitment 2024 will be as per Govt. O.M. No. AHE.239/ 2021/ 68 dated 24/01/2022 with the NET/ SLET/ SET as mandatory eligibility conditions.
• Candidates having Ph.D. Degree in accordance with UGC Ph.D. Regulation 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of minimum eligibility conditions of NET/ SLET/ SET.
• The candidates must have a minimum of 55% marks in the concerned subject. A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided at the Graduate or Master’s level for the SC/ ST/ PWD categories for the purpose of eligibility.
• The candidate has to acquire qualifications as of the last date for submitting applications. Eligibility like M.Phil./ Ph.D./ Seminar Papers/ Publications can be acquired and submitted on the date of the interview and not beyond.
• The candidates must be from the State of Assam and know the local language.
• In-service candidates must apply through the proper channel with an NOC obtained from the concerned authority.
• Candidates outside Assam are requested to go through the Govt. of Assam (Higher Education) Order No.AHE.429/ 2021/ Pt/ 3 dated 01.02.2022.

• They should submit the filled application form along with photocopies of their academic qualifications, necessary documents, and a Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) to the following address:
