Indian Coast Guard Navik Recruitment 2025: The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) under the Ministry of Defence has recently released an advertisement for a recruitment drive of Navik (General Duty) and Navik (Domestic Branch) against 300 vacancies. Pay Scale
- The candidates who get selected under Indian Coast Guard Navik Recruitment 2025 will receive Basic pay of Rs. 21700/- (Pay Level-3).
- Also, candidates will be getting Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/ place of posting as per the prevailing regulations.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Indian Coast Guard Navik Recruitment 2025, the candidate must fulfil the following criteria:
(i) Age Limit
- The age of candidates should be between 18 to 22 years of age i.e. the candidates must be born between 1st September 2003 to 31st August 2007 (both dates are Inclusive).
- Age relaxations for the following categories:
- SC/ ST: 5 years
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- Age relaxation applies only if posts are reserved for these categories.
(ii) Education Qualification
- Navik (General Duty): Candidates must possess a 10+2 Intermediate Exam with Physics and Maths as a subject from an education board recognized by the Council of Boards for Schools (COBSE).
- Navik (Domestic Branch): Candidates must pass a 10th Matric Exam by an education board recognized by the Council of Boards for Schools (COBSE).
Selection Procedure
The selection process for Indian Coast Guard Navik Recruitment 2025 is divided into four stages as follows:
- Stage I: Computer Based Test
- Stage II: Assessment & Adaptability Test, Physical Fitness Test, Document Verification and Initial Medicals Examination
- Stage III: Document Verification and Final Medical Examination & Submission of Original Documents, Police Verification and Other Associated Forms
- Stage IV: Release of Provisional and Final Selection List for candidatesto undergo training at INS Chilka
