APSC Prelims Results: The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has declared the results of the Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination, 2024. The examination was conducted on 8th June 2025. Candidates who have qualified for this stage are now eligible to appear for the Combined Competitive (Main) Examination, 2024, scheduled for October 2025. The detailed list of roll numbers qualifying for the main examination is given below in the important links section.
This year, the notification for the APSC CCE was released on 23rd March 2025, announcing a total of 262 vacancies across 16 services. However, the commission had added another 27 vacancies of Assam Finance Service via an addendum on 29th March, 2025. Then, on 8th June, soon after the completion of the exam, the commission released the provisional answer keys for both General Studies Paper I and II. And today, on 17th July, the APSC Prelims Results 2024 is finally out.

What after APSC Prelims Results?
As the preliminary examination is over, and the results are out today. APSC will now permit the qualified candidates to appear in Mains and Interview rounds based on their scores in the Preliminary Examination. Usually, APSC allows 11 to 12 times of candidates compared to the vacancies available to be admitted to the next stage of selection, which is Main Examination.
The Mains exam will consist of six papers of conventional essay type/ objective type with limited words. The overall marking scheme for the second stage of APSC CCE 2024 will be as follows:
