APSC Mains: The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) is a constitutional body responsible for recruiting candidates for various government jobs in the state of Assam, India. It conducts examinations for various posts, including the prestigious Assam Civil Services Exam. The APSC plays a crucial role in selecting qualified individuals for administrative and other key positions within the state government.

The Combined Competitive Examination (CCE), which is conducted by APSC for recruitment to various Services/ Posts of the Government of Assam is a multi-stage process comprising three distinct phases: the Preliminary examination, the Main examination, and the Interview. Exam Pattern

  • Once the candidates qualifies in APSC Prelims, they can appear in the next stage, which is APSC Mains.
  • The APSC Mains includes a written exam and an interview followed by that.
  • Candidates can appear for the interview if they qualify the written exam.

  • Candidates can write their answers in either English or Assamese.
  • The questions will be descriptive type.
