BTC Kokrajhar Forest Department Recruitment 2026: The Central Selection Board of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), Kokrajhar has announced various posts under the Forest Department. Online applications are invited from eligible candidates who are residents of BTC area and registered with the Employment Exchange of Assam. The recruitment is for the posts of Forester-I and Forest Guard (Gr. III) with a number of sanctioned vacancies. Pay Scale

The selected candidates for the BTC Kokrajhar Forest Department Recruitment 2026 will be paid as per the Pay Band-2 scale ranging from Rs. 14,000 to Rs. 49,000 with Grade Pay Rs. 6,200 for Forester-I and Rs. 5,600 for Forest Guard, along with other admissible allowances.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

• Forester-I : Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent.
• Forest Guard : Minimum HSLC (10+2) or equivalent examination passed.

Age Limit

• Age should be between 18 and 40 years as on 01-01-2026.
• Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates as per government rules.

Selection Process

• Physical Test: 26 Km walking in 4 hours for males and 16 Km walking in 4 hours for females, followed by a medical examination.
• Written Test: Objective-type multiple-choice questions of 100 marks, duration 3 hours.
• Viva-Voce Test: Oral interview carrying 20 marks for all candidates qualified in the written examination.

Exam Pattern

• The written examination will cover General English, General Knowledge with emphasis on OTC area and Assam, Logical Reasoning and Aptitude, and Arithmetic.
• The Forester-I exam will be of Higher Secondary standard, while the Forest Guard exam will be of HSLC standard.

• No Objection Certificate (NOC) for candidates already in government service.
