Age Limit
The upper age limit is 45 years as on the closing date of online applications. SC/ST candidates get 5 years of age relaxation, OBC candidates get 3 years, and PwBD candidates get 10 years (General), 13 years (OBC), or 15 years (SC/ST) relaxation.
Educational Qualification
- Medical candidates need a postgraduate medical degree (MD/MS/DNB or equivalent) in the relevant discipline, as per the Residency Scheme.
- For Dentistry, an MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is required. Non-medical candidates need an M.Sc. with Ph.D. in the concerned subject: Human Anatomy for Anatomy, Medical Physiology/Physiology for Physiology, Medical Biochemistry/Biochemistry for Biochemistry, Medical Microbiology/Microbiology for Microbiology, and Medical Pharmacology/Pharmacology for Pharmacology.
- Candidates with an MD/MS in General Medicine or General Surgery can apply for residency in the respective medical or surgical super-speciality departments.

Selection Process
