Pay Scale

The candidate selected under the APSC Junior Engineer Recruitment 2025 will receive a pay of Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- with a Grade pay of Rs. 8,700/-, which comes under the Pay Band – 2 category.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have a 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from any technical institute recognized by AICTE.
• The Diploma course must be a Regular course. A diploma course obtained through the Distance mode of education, by whatever name called, will not be considered.

Age Limit

• The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years of age as on 01-01-2025.
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
  • PwBD: 10 years

Other Criteria

• Candidates must possess a valid Employment Exchange Card from the Government of Assam.
• Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam.
• Candidates must submit a Small Family Norms Declaration Form.
