State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Assam has released a new notification related to the fulfillment of vacancies under Assam Forest Department recruitment 2023 including Forester Grade-1, Forest Guard, and other forest department jobs. • Nationality:

  • For the posts of Forester Grade I, Forest Guard & Driver: 18 to 40 years as of 01-01-2023 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01-01-2005 and on or after 01-01-1983).
  • For the posts of AFPF Constable & Driver Constable: 18 to 25 years as of 01-01-2023 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01-01-2005 and on or after 01-01-1998).
• Relaxations: Upper age limit will be relaxed for:
  • 5 (five) years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST (P), and ST (H).
  • 3 (three) years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC/ MOBC.
• Education:
  • Forester Grade-1:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent
  • Forest Guard:
    • Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.
  • AFPF:
    • HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board.
  • Driver Constable:
    • HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and must possess a valid driving license for LMV or MMV or HMV.
  • Driver:
    • HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and must possess a valid driving license for LMV or MMV or HMV.
• Other Requirements:
  • Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
  • Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other state language fluently

• Birth Certificate issued by the Competent Authority or Educational Qualification Certificate issued by the Competent Authority of the School/ Institution last studied by the candidates who have not appeared in HSLC/ Matriculation
