Assam State Level Ekalavya Model Residential School Admission 2025: Registration portal closing soon, Apply now

The Assam State Level Ekalavya Model Residential School Society (ASLEMRSS) has released an official notification inviting online applications from eligible students for admission to Class VI. The application portal is already live, and interested students can apply till 17th March 2025.

The Assam State Level Ekalavya Model Residential Schools are CBSE affiliated English medium secondary school under administrative control of Adarsha Vidyala Sangathan, Assam, an autonomous body under the Department of School Education, Government of Assam.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• The applicant for admission to Class VI at Assam State Level Ekalavya Model Residential School must have passed Class V from a government/ government-aided/ Govt. recognized School/ CBSE Affiliated School/ Level B of the NIOS OBE Program.
• Alternatively, candidates who have not attended a formal school but have been homeschooled are also eligible to apply.
• In the case of homeschooling, parents/ guardians must submit a self-declaration certificate stating that their child has completed the equivalent of a Class V education at home.

Age Limit

• The candidate must be between 10 and 13 years old as of 31/03/2025.
• The child born on 1st April shall also be considered.

Other Criteria

• The candidate must be a Permanent Resident of Assam.
• The candidate’s annual family income shall not be more than 5 lakhs.

Selection Procedure

The selection procedure for admission to Class VI at Assam State Level Ekalavya Model Residential School will be done based on the scores of an Entrance Examination, known as Ekalavya Model Residential School Selection Test or EMRSST. The EMRSST 2025 will be conducted on the 30th of March 2025 (Sunday) from 10.00 A.M to 12.00 Noon.

The steps to apply for admission at Assam State Level Ekalavya Model Residential School Society 2025 are as follows-

• First of all, the candidates need to visit the Application portal from the link given below
• Click on the link saying ‘New Registration.’
• Candidates must now register with their mobile number, email, and other personal details.
• Based on the above information, the registration number will be generated and sent to the candidate via email or SMS
• After successful registration, candidates must log in using the credentials and fill out the online application form
• Enter all the details as directed and upload the essential documents
• Then, the candidate must preview the application form and click on the “submit” button
• Lastly, take a printout of the application form for future reference
