AYUSH Recruitment 2023: Apply now for 204 vacancies of Community Health Officers

The National AYUSH Mission (NAM), Assam released an advertisement on 31st of July, 2023 and announced about 204 vacancies of Community Health Officers (CHO). The NAM, Assam is looking to recruit eligible candidates, who are willing to work in mission mode for engagement on a contractual basis in the CHO position. The application portal for AYUSH Recruitment 2023 is open and interested candidates have time upto 25th of August, 2023 to apply for the same.

Job Description

• Designation: Community Health Officer (CHO)
• Remuneration: Rs. 25,000/- and performance-based incentives up to Rs. 15,000/-
• No. of Vacancies: 204

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification:
  • The candidate must have the BAMS/ BHMS qualifications from any of the recognized institutes.
  • The candidates must be registered under the State Council/ Board of Assam.
• Age Limit: A candidate’s age should not exceed 45 years as of the last date of application.
• Desirable Criteria:
  • Proficiency in regional/ local languages and dialects.
  • Working experience in the public health system preferably at the Primary/ Community Health Centre level will be given weightage.
