Bodoland University BUCET 2023: Bodoland University has opened the application portal for admission into B.Ed and M.Ed programmes on 25th of June, 2023. Interested students will need to appear in the Bodoland University Common Entrance Test (BUCET) 2023. And based on the merit list of BUCET 2023, the candidates will be selected for admission procedures. Candidates can visit the official website and can apply for the same on or before the 20th of July, 2023.

On the other hand, the M.Ed programme is offered in just 1 institute, that is in GCTE, Kokrajhar. The GCTE, Kokrajhar admits 50 candidates for admission into the M.Ed course, out of which 20% of seats are reserved for deputation in M.Ed.
Eligibility for B.Ed Course
All the candidates who wish to apply for the B.Ed course at Bodoland University need to comply with the following eligibility conditions:
- The candidate should be a graduate or equivalent from any recognized university with at least a 50% mark in aggregate.
- In the case of an applicant who failed to secure 50% in the UG course, then the candidate must have secured 55% in the PG course.
- However, the candidates from the reserved categories (SC/ ST) shall be given a relaxation of up to 5% of the marks as per the above criteria. But, such relaxations will not apply to candidates seeking admission in any other reserved quota.
- Teachers deputed by the Govt. of Assam for the course must submit a study leave certificate/ No Objection Certificate from their concerned employers along with the application.
Eligibility for M.Ed Course
Here are the eligibility criteria for candidates applying for the M.Ed programme:
- The candidate should have a B.Ed degree or B.T. degree from Bodoland University or any other university recognised by this university with at least 55% marks in aggregate as per the latest NCTE norms.
- However, the candidates from the reserved categories (SC/ ST) shall be given a relaxation of up to 5% of the marks as per the above criteria. But, such relaxations will not apply to candidates seeking admission in any other reserved quota.
- Teachers deputed by the Govt. of Assam for the course must submit a study leave certificate/ No Objection Certificate from their concerned employers along with the application.
Steps to Apply
To apply for Bodoland University BUCET 2023, candidates need to follow the steps mentioned below:
- First of all, visit the admission portal of Bodoland University
- Now, click on the ‘New User’ link given in the top menu
- Enter your basic details like name, phone number & email address, and then upload your photo and signature
- Now click on the ‘Create Account’ button and then activate your account by clicking on the link, sent to your email id
- Once again, visit the home page of the admission portal and login into it using your username and password (which is sent to you via mail)
- Next, fill up all the details as asked on the website and complete your profile
- Then, click on the apply button shown in the dashboard and choose your preferred course; you will also need to add a few more details and then upload all the relevant documents
- Once done, preview and submit your application form, and pay the application fees
- Lastly, download your application format and keep it safe for further references
Application Fees
- At the time of filling out the online application forms for Bodoland University BUCET 2023, the applicants will need to pay Rs. 700/- as an application fee.
- The amount can be paid through Debit Card, Credit Card, and Internet Banking facility, available on the website.
