Eligibility Criteria for BPCL Recruitment 2023
(i) Junior Executive (Engineering)
Educational Eligibility: Candidate must have passed a Diploma in Engineering (3-year course) in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Civil/ Chemical Engineering from a recognized University with a minimum 60% aggregate percentage (or equivalent CGPA & above), relaxed to 55% for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates.
Core Discipline: Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics, Civil, Chemical
Work Experience:
1) Minimum 5 years of continuous post-qualification relevant work experience (including minimum 2 years in managerial/ supervisory role) in:
(a) Operations/ Maintenance/ Project roles in a Petroleum Oil & Gas organization within India in the following plants:
- POL Terminal / Depot/ Installation having more than 25,000 KL storage capacity OR
- OISD -144 Compliant LPG Bottling Plant OR
- Cross-country (at least 50 km) POL/ LPG Pipeline OR
- Bulk LPG/ POL Coastal Import Terminal OR
- Commercial/ Defense Aviation Fueling Station OR
- Stand-alone Petroleum Oil Refinery OR Integrated Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemical plant OR
- City Gas Distribution
(b) OR Engineering/ Technology Assistance/ Operations role for Retail Fueling Stations (POL products only) operating out of the Territory/ Sales/ Divisional/ Zonal/ Regional office of a Petroleum Oil and Gas organization within India.
2) The candidate must currently be employed in a managerial/ supervisory role in a Petroleum Oil & Gas organization within India
Upper Age Limit: 29 years for Diploma Engineers
(ii) Associate Executive (Engineering)
Educational Qualifications: Candidate must have passed B.Tech / B.E./ B. Sc (Engg) (4-year course) in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Civil/ Chemical Engineering from a recognized University with minimum 60% aggregate percentage (or equivalent CGPA & above), relaxed to 55% for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates.

Work Experience:
1) Minimum 3 years of continuous post-qualification relevant work experience (including minimum 2 years in managerial /supervisory role) in:

Age Limit: 29 years for Graduate Engineers
(iii) Junior Executive (Accounts)
Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (relaxed to 50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST and PwBD categories) AND have passed the CA Intermediate/ CMA Intermediate from CA/ CMA institute respectively.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification relevant experience in finance function.
- Relevant field of experience includes experience in the field(s) of Finance/ Accounts/ Taxation/ Cost Accounting/ Auditing etc. These fields/experiences are not exhaustive and indicative in nature. The Corporation reserves the right to make a final decision for considering/ not considering an experience as a valid experience for the post.
- Experiences obtained after the date of declaration of CA (Inter)/ CMA (Inter) result shall only be considered for this position. Further, the article-ship training/ practical training which are integrated into the curriculum of the respective institution shall not be considered a valid experience for this purpose.
Age Limit: Minimum: 30 years, Maximum: 35 years
(iv) Junior Executive (Quality Assurance)
Educational Qualifications: B. Sc (Chemistry) (3-year course), with specialization in Organic/ Physical/ Inorganic/ Analytical chemistry, from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% aggregate percentage (or equivalent CGPA & above), relaxed to 55% for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PWD categories. OR Diploma in Chemical Engineering (3-year course) from a recognized University with a minimum 60% aggregate percentage (or equivalent CGPA & above), relaxed to 55% for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification relevant work experience in Testing Laboratories, working for a Petroleum Oil & Gas organization / Stand-alone Petroleum Oil Refinery / Integrated Petroleum Refinery and petrochemical plant.
- Deep understanding and working knowledge of Testing and reasonable capability in front-line maintenance of Test equipment is mandatory.
- Work Experience in an ISO/IEC:17025:2017 accredited Laboratory and knowledge of relevant documentation are required.
- Hands-on experience in LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) is desirable.
Age Limit: Upper Age Limit- 29 years.
(v) Associate Executive (Human Resources)
Educational Qualification: MBA (HR)/ MA (PM&IR)/ Post-Graduate Diploma in HR/ PM&IR/ MMS (HR/ Personnel)/ Masters in Labour Studies (2-year courses) with minimum 65% marks in aggregate (or equivalent CGPA), relaxed to 60% for SC/ ST/ PWD categories
Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification relevant work experience in Petroleum Oil & Gas or manufacturing organizations in various domains of Human Resources, such as Learning & Development/ Talent Management/ Employee Relations/ Industrial Relations/ Talent Acquisition/ Performance Management/ Workforce Management/ HR Business Partner role. These domains are not exhaustive and are indicative in nature.
Upper Age Limit: 30 years
Selection Process of BPCL Recruitment 2023
