CSIR Recruitment 2023: The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) is inviting eligible candidates for the post of Section Officer (SO) and Assistant Section Officer (ASO) under the Combined Administrative Service Examination (CASE-2023). The application process for the same was started on 8th December 2023 and the application portal of CSIR Recruitment 2023 will remain open till 12th January 2024.

Eligibility
Age Limit
The candidate applying for CSIR Recruitment 2023 will need to be below 33 years of age. However, there are certain relaxations for various categories as given below:
- OBC: 3 years
- SC/ ST: 5 years
- PwBD (Unreserved): 10 years
- PwBD (SC/ ST): 15 years
- PwBD (OBC): 13 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years after deduction of the actual military service rendered from the actual age as of the closing date
- CSIR Departmental Candidates: 05 years
- Any other category: No criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for the vacancies in CSIR Recruitment 2023 must be graduates in any discipline from a recognized University.

How to apply?
Interested candidates can apply online for 444 posts in CSIR Recruitment 2023 through the following steps given below:
- First of all, click the ‘Online Application Portal’ as directed below
- Go to the section directed as ‘Registration’
- Candidates will now have to provide their mobile number and email
- The candidates applying will have to set a strong password
- Based on the above details, the registration number will be generated
- After this, the candidate needs to enter all the details as directed and upload the essential documents along with the photograph and signature
- After this, the candidate must complete the payment procedure by paying the application fee
- At last, the candidate must click on the “submit” button
- The candidate can take a printout copy of the payment receipt and application form for future references

Selection Procedure
The selection process for CSIR Recruitment 2023 will consist of three stages.
- Stage 1: It will contain a written test with two papers (Paper I & II) which will be an Objective-based paper.
- Stage 2: It will contain a written test with a single paper (Paper III) which will be a Subjective paper.
- Stage 3: The third stage comprises of Interview carrying 100 marks for the post of Section Officer (Gen/ F&A/ S&P) only. There will be a Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) carrying 100 marks for the posts of Assistant Section Officer (Gen/ F&A/ S&P) only and CPT is Qualifying in nature.
