Educational Qualification

- 03 years of work experience in the concerned trade in a Ministry/Department/Organisation/Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Body under the Government of India/State/UT.

Age Limit

Selection Process
The selection process for CSIR Technical Department Recruitment 2026 comprises the following stages:
- Screening of applications by a duly constituted Screening Committee.
- A qualifying Trade Test for shortlisted candidates.
- A competitive Written Examination consisting of Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III for candidates who qualify the Trade Test.
Paper-II and Paper-III are evaluated only for candidates who secure the minimum threshold marks in Paper-I. The final merit list is prepared solely on the basis of marks obtained in Paper-II and Paper-III.
Exam Pattern
The Written Examination is OMR-based or Computer-Based, consisting of 150 objective-type multiple-choice questions to be attempted in 2 hours 30 minutes.
