EPFO Recruitment 2023: Forms are now open for 2859 vacancies, get complete details

The Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has recently released a notification inviting applications for recruitment to 2859 vacant posts of Social Security Assistant & Stenographer. The applications will be accepted from March 27, 2023, to April 26, 2023. The examination for EPFO Recruitment 2023 will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for vacancies to be filled all over India.

Salary

Eligibility for the post of Social Security Assistant

(a) Educational Qualification:

1. Applicants applying for EPFO Recruitment 2023 must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university as of the closing date for online registration of application.
2. A typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on a computer. (35 words per minute and 30 words per minute correspond to 10500 Key Depression per Hour (KDPH) / 9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word for Data Entry Work. Time allowed – ten minutes.
3. Those awaiting results of the final examination of the prescribed Essential qualification SHOULD NOT APPLY.

(b) Age Limit:

Applicants applying for EPFO Recruitment 2023 must be between 18 to 27 years as of the Closing Date of the Online Application form with Age relaxation as applicable.

(c) Nationality:

• A candidate must be either:
• a citizen of India, or
• a subject of Nepal, or
• a subject of Bhutan, or
• a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st of January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India
• a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Eligibility for the post of Stenographer

(a) Educational Qualification:

1. The candidate must be a 12th class pass from a recognized Board as of the closing date of the online application.
2. Those awaiting results of the final examination of the prescribed Essential qualification SHOULD NOT APPLY

(b) Age Limit:

Applicants applying for EPFO Recruitment 2023 must be between 18 and 27 years as of the Closing Date of the Online Application form with Age relaxation as applicable.

(c) Nationality:

• A candidate must be either:
  • a citizen of India, or
  • a subject of Nepal, or
  • a subject of Bhutan, or
  • a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st of January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
  • a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
  • Provided that a candidate belonging to countries mentioned above other than India, he/ she should be a person in whose favor the Government of India has issued a certificate of eligibility.
• A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India.
