ESIC Recruitment 2026: The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) invites applications for the post of Insurance Medical Officer Grade-II (IMO Gr. II) through the Pratibha Setu Portal based on the Combined Medical Services Examination (CMSE) 2024 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The recruitment aims to fill numerous vacancies in ESIC Hospitals/Dispensaries with qualified medical professionals. The application process closes on 17th February 2026, with provisions for candidates from certain regions up to 24th February 2026.

Salary and Benefits
The post of ESIC Recruitment 2026 offers a pay scale at Level-10 in the pay matrix starting from Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 with an additional non-practicing allowance as admissible for analogous posts in the Central Government. Selected candidates will also be eligible for Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance as per government norms.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
Applicants applying under ESIC Recruitment 2026 must not exceed 35 years as on 1st August 2024. Age relaxation up to five years is allowed for ESIC employees and government servants. Further relaxations apply for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD/ Ex-Servicemen as per government rules.
Educational Qualifications
- Recognized MBBS degree included in the First Schedule, Second Schedule, or Part-II of the Third Schedule (excluding licentiate qualifications) under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Completion of compulsory rotating internship. Candidates yet to complete internship can apply but must complete it before appointment.
Nationality/ Citizenship
- Citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee settled permanently in India before 1st January 1962.
- Person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries with a valid eligibility certificate from the Government of India.
Selection Process
- The selection of the candidates applying under ESIC Recruitment 2026 is based on the merit list prepared using marks obtained in CMSE-2024 conducted by UPSC.
- Applicants must give consent for sharing CMSE 2024 marks with ESIC; applications without consent will be rejected.
- Age and reservation relaxations as per government ordinances.
- Only candidates featured in the CMSE 2024 on the Pratibha Setu Portal as of 17th February 2026 are eligible.
Documents Required
- Recent passport-size photograph self-attested and pasted on the application form.
- Proof of Date of Birth (10th standard certificate/mark sheet or school leaving certificate for specific states).
- Degree certificate and mark sheets for all academic years or provisional certificates.
- Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) in prescribed formats from competent authorities.
- OBC candidates must submit declaration of non-creamy layer status.
- Disability certificate for PwBD candidates issued by competent authority.
- Certificates regarding change of name (if applicable) such as marriage or divorce documents.
- Age relaxation certificates if applicable for Ex-Servicemen or others.
- Service certificate and NOC for Government or ESIC employees applying.

- Attach self-attested copies of all relevant certificates and documents.
- Send the application via Speed Post to the Joint Director (Recruitment), ESIC Corporation, Panchdeep Bhawan, CIG Marg, New Delhi-110002.
- Ensure the application reaches on or before 17th February 2026 (extended to 24th February 2026 for candidates from specified regions).
- Applications sent by email or after the last date will not be accepted.
