FSSAI Internship 2025: Deadlines to end soon; Apply Now for new Opportunities

FSSAI Internship 2025: The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), a statutory body under the administration of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India (MoHFW, GoI), has invited eligible candidates for the FSSAI Internship 2025. The due date was extended to 4 April 2025, whereas the earlier date was 31 March 2025. Interested candidates can check the eligibility criteria and apply on or before the due date.

FSSAI Internship 2025: An Overview

• The internship will be for a duration of a minimum of 2 months and a maximum of 6 months.
• Internships are offered throughout the year in quarterly cycles.
• If not selected in a previous cycle, re-application will be required.
• During the total duration of the internship, candidates will receive a stipend of 10,000 (total) for deserving interns, based on –
  • Attendance records
  • Performance evaluation by reporting officers
  • Final report/ presentation assessment
• Certificate will be awarded upon successful completion (submission of final report/ presentation).
• Facilities provided by FSSAI are workspace, internet access, and basic office amenities.
• However, no lodging/ travel allowances or boarding expenses.

Note: Interns must bring their own laptops.

Eligibility Criteria

The main criteria for the FSSAI Internship 2025 are as follows –

• Candidates pursuing Post Graduate Degree/ B.Tech/ BE from a recognized University or Institution in Chemistry or Biochemistry or Food Technology or Food Science & Technology or Food & Nutrition or Edible Oil Technology or Microbiology or Dairy Technology or Agricultural or Horticultural Sciences or Industrial Microbiology or Toxicology or Public Health or Life Science or Biotechnology or Fruit & Vegetable Technology or Food Safety & Quality Assurance
• Candidates pursuing Business Administration & Management, including policy regulation and related fields.- Only at FSSAI (HQ)
• Candidates pursuing PG Diploma/ Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication and Public Relations
• Candidates pursuing B.E./ B. Tech (Only 3rd and 4th-year students, not for 2nd or 1st Year) in Computer Science/ Information Technology Software Engineering or related Stream
• Candidates pursuing Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Public Policy Public Administration – Only for FSSAI (HQ)
• Candidates pursuing Bachelor/ Master of Law.- Only for FSSAI (HQ)
• Candidates pursuing Degree/ Diploma in Library & Information Science OR Related Discipline Only for FSSAI (HQ)

Note –

1. Students who have already completed their degrees are not eligible to apply.
2. Only technically qualified candidates are eligible for FSSAI labs.
3. Non-technical candidates may apply for HQ/ regional office roles.

Documents Required

Candidates will require the following documents at the time of joining –

• Institute’s No Objection Certificate (NOC) confirming student status
• Character Certificate from the institute
• Proof of educational qualifications (mark sheets/ degree copies)

• Write your academic or research achievement as well as a Statement of Purpose (SOP)
• Upload your photo and your resume
• Then, submit the form after reviewing it thoroughly
