GUBEDCET 2024: Merit List for B.Ed Admission in Gauhati University is out now

Gauhati University has released the first merit list for admissions to the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme, after evaluating the candidate’s performance in GUBEDCET 2024. Gauhati University conducted the entrance test, GUBEDCET 2024 on the 14th of July 2024. And the provisional rank list was out yesterday, on the 5th of August 2024.

Merit List of GUBEDCET 2024

All the candidates who appeared in GUBEDCET 2024 on the 14th of July can now see their scores and rank on the merit list by clicking the link given below. Candidates can also follow these steps to download the merit list from the official website:

• Visit the admission portal of GU
• Click on the highlighted link saying ‘Provisional Merit List for GUBEDCET 2024’
• Download the merit list and search your name/ roll number to check out your marks and rank

Category Correction

The Gauhati University has opened a correction window for all the candidates, who had earlier filled in the wrong category during the application procedure. For correction in the category, candidates need to submit their application to the office of the Academic Registrar, Gauhati University on or before the 12th of August 2024. The documents that are required to be enclosed with the application are:

• Admit Card of GUBEDCET 2024
• Money Receipt of Application Fee, which was paid during form fillup
• Printout of the Application form
• In the case of OBC/ MOBC, a valid NCL certificate from the competent authority should be submitted
• In the case of EWS, a valid EWS certificate for the current financial year from the competent authority should be submitted

Photocopy of OMR Sheet

To obtain the photocopy of the OMR sheet, candidates need to pay Rs. 500 through “SBI Collect other option of Gauhati University which is available on the website of GU”. The application should be submitted on or before 12/08/2024 with the following documents in hard copy to the office of the Academic Registrar:

• Admit card of GUBEDCET 2024
• Money receipt of application fee of Rs. 2000, which was paid during the online application
• Money receipt of Rs. 500
• Printout of the online application form

Final Merit List & Admissions

Once all the errors are rectified, the final rank list will be out. And then Gauhati University will ask all the colleges/ institutions affiliated with GU, who are eligible to admit students to the B.Ed. programme for the session 2024-25 to take up the initiative and start the counselling procedures based on the Merit List of GUBEDCET 2024.
