ISRO Recruitment 2022: Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has recently released a notification, inviting applications for the post of Assistant, Junior Personal Assistant, Upper Division Clerk, and Stenographer. The notification was released on 20 December 2022 by ISRO and candidates can apply by 9 January 2023.

ISRO Recruitment 2022 Eligibility

For Assistant and UDC

• Graduation with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 6.32
• Proficiency in the use of Computers
• AGE LIMIT: 28 years as of 09.01.2023 (31 years for OBC candidates and 33 years for SC/ST candidates, wherever posts are reserved)

For Junior Personal Assistant and Stenographer

• Graduation with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 6.32
• OR Diploma in Commercial/ Secretarial Practice with a Minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 6.32
• One year experience as Steno-Typist/ Stenographer
• A minimum speed of 60 w.p.m. in English Stenography
• Proficiency in the use of Computers
• AGE LIMIT: 28 years as of 09.01.2023 (31 years for OBC candidates and 33 years for SC/ST candidates, wherever posts are reserved)

ISRO Recruitment 2022 Selection Process

• First candidates have to appear in a written test
• Followed by a skill test
• The final selection will be based on the marks of written test from among the students who qualify the skill test

For Assistant and UDC

For Junior Personal Assistant and Stenographer

Skill Test on Computer

• MS Word (35 Marks)
• MS Excel (35 Marks)
• MS PowerPoint (30 marks)
• Test Duration:- 60 Minutes

Stenography Test

• Shorthand test for 300 words @ 60 words per minute (Time: 5 minutes)
• The passage is to be transcribed on Computer (Time: 30 minutes, with compensation time as applicable to PWBD candidates)
• Short-hand dictation work, i.e strokes, etc, needs to be as per Pittman’s short-hand (long hand not permitted), failing which the Transcript will not be evaluated
