Pay Scale
- Group A posts advertised under NCERT Recruitment 2025 have pay levels ranging from Level 10 to Level 12 of the 7th CPC, with pay bands 3 (₹15,600-39,100) plus grade pay between ₹5,400 to ₹7,600.
- Group B posts fall under Level 6 and Level 7 of 7th CPC, with pay bands 2 (₹9,300-34,800) plus grade pay between ₹4,200 to ₹4,600.
- Group C posts include levels 2 to 5 of 7th CPC, with pay bands 1 or 2 depending on level, and grade pay from ₹1,900 to ₹2,800.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
The age limits vary by post, ranging from 27 to 50 years depending on the level and category of the post.
Educational Qualifications
- For senior posts such as Superintending Engineer, a master’s degree or B.Tech/ M.Tech in Electronics and Communication, Information Technology, or related ICT fields with specified years of experience is required.
- Posts like Production Officer and Business Manager under NCERT Recruitment 2025 require relevant degrees such as Bachelor’s in Printing Technology, Diploma in Sales/ Marketing, or MBA along with relevant experience.
- Junior Hindi Translator requires a Master’s degree in Hindi/ English with translation experience or recognized diploma in translation.
- Lower Division Clerk requires intermediate (10+2) education with specified typing speed in English and /or Hindi.
- Technical and media-related posts require specific diplomas or degrees in media production, engineering, or library science as applicable.
Experience
- Experience is mandatory for several posts, ranging typically from 3 to 12 years depending on the post level and nature of work, including production, printing technology, media operations, financial management, and library science.
