NERIST Admission 2024: The North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) located in Nirjuli of Itanagar, is accepting online applications from eligible candidates for admission into the undergraduate programmes. An entrance test is organized to select candidates, which is named as NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE). The NEE 2024 is composed of 4 entrance examinations, namely:

• NEE-I for Base Module (Certificate) programme
• NEE-II for B.Tech programme
• NEE-II for B.Sc. in Forestry programme
• NEE-III (Lateral Entry) for B.Tech programme

Eligibility Criteria

• NEE-I for Base Module (Certificate) programme: Candidates should be class 10 passed or appearing
• NEE-II for B.Tech programme: Candidates should be class 12 (PCM) passed or appearing, Class 12 (Voc)/ ITI/ NERIST Certificate in AE/ CE/ ECE/ EE/ ME passed or appearing
• NEE-II for B.Sc. in Forestry programme: Candidates should be class 12 (PCB) passed or appearing
• NEE-III (Lateral Entry) for B.Tech programme: Candidates should have 3 years Diploma in the relevant branch of Engineering and technology passed or appearing

NERIST Admission 2024: How to apply?

• Candidates should go to the official website of NERIST
• Then click on the “Online Application for NEE 2024” button given on the home page of the NEE Application Portal
• After this, click on the “New Registration” button and get registered
• Applicants are required to fill up the details in the application form
• In the next step, the applicants are required to upload a scanned image file of his/her Photograph and Signature one by one as instructed
• Then fill in the academic details
• Now, applicants need to choose an examination centre for the test
• Finishing this, pay the application fee as per your category and submit the form
• Do not forget to take a printout copy of the application form for NERIST Admission 2024 and the payment receipt for future reference.
