GU M.Ed Admission 2024: Gauhati University is now accepting online applications from eligible candidates for the two-year Master of Education (M.Ed) program under the Department of Education of the University and its affiliated colleges. Who can apply?

Candidates to fill out applications for GU M.Ed Admission 2024 must be B.Ed./ B.T. degree from Gauhati University or any other university recognized by the University having at least 55% marks in aggregate as per the latest NCTE norms. Relaxation of 5% marks for reserved category of students as per university norms. Serving candidates must submit a Study leave Certificate/ No Objection Certificate from their concerned employers along with the application.

• Click on the link that reads, “Application for Master of Education (M.Ed.) Entrance Examination 2024 Click here to Apply”
• Then go for the M.Ed option
• Moving to the registration page, enter the required details carefully
• Fill out the application form with the educational qualifications and other relevant details
• Then next, upload all necessary documents
• Submit the form and pay the fee in the final step
• After successfully completing the online application process, candidates need to print and keep their payment e-receipt and acknowledgement forms for future reference.

Application Fee

An application fee of Rs. 1,000/- is to be paid online by the candidates at the time of GU M.Ed Admission 2024 registration. The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (Visa/ MasterCard/ Maestro), Credit Cards, and Internet Banking/ UPI.

GU M.Ed Admission 2024

The GU M.Ed Admission 2024 selection process is based on the entrance examination scores. Gauhati University shall conduct the entrance test in offline mode and the duration of the same will be from 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM.

Applicants seeking reservations under categories

Applicants seeking admission under Differently Abled, Son/ Daughter of permanent in-service Employees of Gauhati University, Son/ Daughter of Ex-Employees of Gauhati University, Son/ Daughter of Ex Defence Personnel, Fringe Village, NCC/ NSS, Extra-curricular and Co-curricular Activities, etc. must apply online and take a printout of the application form after submitting it online.

The printed copy of the application form must be submitted with all required testimonials duly self-attested to Room No. 14, Office of the Secretary, University Classes, Gauhati University, Gopinath Bardoloi Nagar, Guwahati-781014, Assam in person or by post on or before February 02, 2024.

However, the applicants seeking reservations under other categories must submit the printed copy of their application form along with other necessary documents to Room No. 14, Office of the Secretary, University Classes, G.U. as stated in the important instructions for applicants seeking reservations under other categories.
