SEBA Class 10 Datesheet: The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) released the datesheet of the HSLC Exam 2024 for students studying in class 10 on the 9th of October, 2023. And then on the 3rd of November, the revised SEBA Class 10 Datesheet was released after considering the Holiday List 2024 published by Govt. of Assam. For the ongoing academic session, SEBA will conduct the Board Exams from the 16th of February to the 4th of March 2024. The routine for Class 12th exams is also expected to be released in a week or so by AHSEC.

Old vs Revised HSLC Exam Routine
Considering the list of public holidays published by the Govt. of Assam for the year 2024, the schedule of the upcoming HSLC Examination, 2024 is changed a bit. Here is the list of changes that were made in the SEBA Class 10 Datesheet as compared to the previous time-table published on 09/10/2023:
- There will be no examination on 20/02/2024 and 26/02/2024.
- The examination of Social Science, which was earlier planned to be conducted on the 20th of February, will be now conducted on the 19th of February, 2024.
- The General Science paper which was earlier scheduled to be conducted on 26th of February will now happen on 27th of February.
- The last change is done for the examination of the subjects- Weaving & Textile Design (E) and Bodo (E) which were scheduled in the morning hour of 27/02/2024 will be held in the afternoon session as the examination of General Science will now be conducted in the morning session of that day.

Notes
In the notification of SEBA Class 10 Datesheet, SEBA has mentioned the following important points:
- Candidates will get 5 minutes of extra time from 8:55 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. in the Morning shift and 1:25 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Afternoon shift to read the Question Paper only.
- Modern Indian Languages (MIL): Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, Bodo, Manipuri, Khasi, Garo, Hmar, Mizo, Urdu, Nepali & Karbi.
- Elective Languages (Time 3 hours) and In Lieu Languages (Time 2 hours): There will be a common Question paper with group A and group B for the Language viz, – Assamese (E), Hindi (E), Manipuri (E) & Santhali (E).
- Candidates offering Elective subjects will have to appear in both groups A and B while in lieu of Language, the candidates will have to appear in group A only, which will be treated as Assamese(IL), Hindi (IL), Manipuri (IL) & Santhali (IL) respectively.
- Examination of all the above Practical subjects will be held in the Examination Centre from where the Candidates appear in theory subjects for the same. That is, this year also the Practical Examination will be held in the theory Examination Centres, NOT be held in Venues.
