The Visva Bharati University on April 17, 2023, issued a notification inviting applications in order to fill 709 vacancies. Desiring and eligible candidates can apply for administrative, non-teaching, and library cadre posts, including some statutory positions.

Visva Bharti has been an institution of national importance, functioning as a unitary teaching and residential Central University. Interested candidates are asked to fill in the application form before May 16, 2023.

(a) Age Limit:

(b) Educational Qualification:

All the candidates who are willing to apply for the vacancies opened by Visva Bharati University need to have a minimum educational qualification based on the post/ designation, they are applying for. Selection Procedure

The Visva Bharati University will select candidates for these vacancies, based on the performance of candidates in the following 3 components:

Written Test (Paper I and Paper II)
Skill Test
Interview/ Personality Test (wherever applicable)

Paper 1

Paper 1 will have 150 MCQ-type questions for all Non-teaching, Library cadre, and Administrative Posts. And the break-up of the paper will be as mentioned below:

Skill Test, which will be qualifying in nature, will be conducted for the posts of:

A Practical or Trade Test will be organised for the Posts of:
- Senior Technical Assistant
- Technical Assistant
- Laboratory Assistant
- Library Assistant
- Laboratory Attendant
Interview will be held for all Group A posts.
