Application Forms are open for BITSAT 2022, here is how you can apply now

The Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani has announced the extension of the deadline for submission of application forms for the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test, also known as BITSAT 2022. Candidates who are interested in pursuing their higher education in BITSAT can now apply for various courses. Application forms will be accepted till the 10th of June 2022.

All three campuses of BITS Pilani have a lot of courses to offer. These include both undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes. Just like previous years, BITSAT 2022 will also be organized in two sets of dates. And any candidate who wishes to appear twice in the admission test can do so, once during the first set of dates, and then during the second set.

Eligibility Criteria

• For admission to all the Integrated First-Degree Programmes except B. Pharm. candidates should have passed the Class 12th from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and adequate proficiency in English.
• For admission to B. Pharm. course, candidates should have passed the Class 12th from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics and adequate proficiency in English.
• The candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects (if he/she has taken Mathematics in BITSAT) or a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects (if he/she has taken Biology in BITSAT) in 12th class examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics / Biology subjects.
• Students who are appearing in the Class 12th examination this year or who have passed the 12th Examination in 2021 are only eligible to appear in the BITSAT-2022 test.

How to apply for BITSAT 2022?

The application form fill-ups are going on. Candidates willing to fill them need to follow the mentioned below points:

• First, visit the official website of BITSAT 2022
• Then go to the link saying ‘Please Click Here to apply for BITSAT-2022’
• Read all the instructions given and click on the Apply now button, given below
• Click on new registration and fill up all your basic details
• Next, fill out the online application form by logging in using the credentials set during the last step
• Once done, upload your photograph, signature, and all the necessary documents as asked
• After successfully completing the form and uploading images, pay the application fees
• Lastly, click on the final submit button, download the application form and the payment receipt along with it and take a printout of the same

Application fees

The candidates, who will appear in BITSAT 2022 from examination centers in India & Nepal will need to pay the fees as below:

• For only 1st Session: Male candidates will need to pay Rs. 3,400, while female candidates will need to pay Rs. 2,900.
• For both 1st & 2nd Session: Male candidates will need to pay Rs. 5400, while female candidates will need to pay Rs. 4,400.

On the other hand, both male and female candidates who will appear in BITSAT 2022 from examination centers in Dubai will need to pay Rs. 7,000 for sitting in one session and Rs. 9,000 for appearing in both sessions of the entrance test.

The application fees once paid will be non-refundable and non-transferable. The fees can be paid using PayU Money or PayTM Payment Gateway services available in the admission portal, which enables the candidate to pay via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI wallets.

Important Dates

Candidates should fill out the application forms for BITSAT 2022 before or on the 10th of June 2022. The application forms are to be filled out online which are available on the official website.

The application forms for BITSAT 2022 will be made available for editing purposes from the 8th of June 2022. The window will remain accessible for candidates till the 12th of June 2022. They can correct the errors that occurred in the application form within the provided period.
