Pay Scale (Stipend)
The rate of stipend payable to apprentices per month under IOCL Recruitment 2023 shall be as prescribed under Apprentices Act, 1961/ 1973, Apprentices Rules 1992/ 2019 as amended from time to time.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Criteria
- For General/ EWS candidates, the eligible age range is between 18 and 24 years as of November 30, 2023.
- The mark sheet/ Certificate issued by the Board of Secondary Education for passing the Matriculation (Class X) Examination shall be the only acceptable document supporting age.
- Age relaxations:
- SC/ ST: 5 years
- OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- PwBD-OBC (NCL): 13 years
- PwBD-SC/ST: 15 years

Documents Required
- 10th Pass/ Matriculation certificate issued by the concerned education board as proof of date of birth
- Class XII/ Final ITI (Fitter) issued by NCVT or SCVT/ Graduation/ Diploma Certificate issued by respective Board/ Authority
- Conversion certificate from CGPA/ OGPA/ Letter Grade to percentage of marks, if applicable, from concerned University/ Institute
- Category certificate
- Cancelled cheque/ Front page of Bank account passbook
How to apply?
To apply for IOCL Recruitment 2023, the candidates must follow these steps:
- First of all, click the ‘Online Application Portal’ as directed below
- Go to the section directed as ‘New Registration’
- Candidates will now have to provide their mobile number and email
- The candidates applying will have to set a strong password
- Based on the above details, the registration number will be generated
- After this, the candidate needs to enter all the details as directed and upload the essential documents along with the photograph and signature
- After this, the candidate must complete the payment procedure by paying the application fee
- At last, the candidate must click on the “submit” button
- The candidate can take a printout copy of the payment receipt and application form for future references
Selection Procedure
The selection of candidates for IOCL Recruitment 2023 shall be based on marks obtained by the candidate in the Online Test, subject to meeting the notified eligibility criteria. The Online Test will be conducted with Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) consisting of four options with one correct answer.
