Learn, Innovate, and Grow: IIT Bhubaneswar Summer Internship 2025
The application portal for the IIT Bhubaneswar summer research program is now open. Interested candidates can apply on or before 4th April, 2025.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar invites online applications for the IIT Bhubaneswar Summer Internship 2025 for students registered for a degree program in any academic institution. The internship will be for 3-8 weeks during the Summer Vacations of IIT Bhubaneswar, tentatively it will start from 10th May, 2025.
The Summer Internship will be in the fields related to the-
- School of Basic Sciences
- Earth Ocean & Climate Sciences
- Electrical and Computer Sciences
- Infrastructure, Mechanical Sciences
- Humanities, Social Sciences and
- Management and Minerals, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering

Eligibility
Students registered for a degree program in any academic institution desirous to carry out Internships at IIT Bhubaneswar are eligible to apply.
Fellowship
Supervisors may provide fellowships to interns, subject to the availability of funds from their projects.
Note:
- The mode of carrying out the Internship through interaction with Faculty Member in offline mode only.
- The students selected for internship shall be provided hostel accommodation, if available, on payment basis. The application for accommodation shall reach the Office of the Chairperson, Warden Council through the Supervisor for permission. The costs towards food and access to other amenities shall be paid by the intern.
- On completion of the assigned work, intern has to submit a report to the supervisor on the work carried out during the internship period. On receipt of the same, the concerned supervisor shall issue a “Training Completion Certificate” to the concerned intern. No grades will be awarded by IIT Bhubaneswar for the work carried out during the internship period.
