Vacancy Details

Salary/Pay Scale

The Senior Executive Trainee (SET-DR) posts under BSNL Executive Trainee Recruitment 2026 will be recruited under the IDA pay scale [E-3] with a pay range of Rs 24,900 to Rs 50,500 (pre-revised).

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for the BSNL Executive Trainee Recruitment 2026.

Educational Qualification

• Telecom Stream: Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology or equivalent engineering degree with minimum 60% marks in Electronics and Telecommunication, Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a combination of these.
• Finance Stream: Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Management Accountant (CMA).
• The educational qualifications must be from an Indian Institute/University established by the Central/State Government or declared deemed university.

Age Limit

• Minimum age is 21 years and maximum age is 30 years as on closing date for the application.
• Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India norms for OBC, SC/ST, EWS, and PwBD categories, with upper age limits extending up to 33-45 years depending on the category.

Selection Process

The selection process of the candidates joining under BSNL Executive Trainee Recruitment 2026 is given follows:

• Candidates will be selected based on a Computer Based Test (CBT) containing multiple choice questions of aptitude and technical knowledge
• Candidates who qualify in the CBT will be called for document verification.
• The selection is purely based on merit, and BSNL reserves the right to amend or cancel the recruitment process.

Exam Pattern / Admission Test Details

The test will have negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Minimum qualifying marks are 40% in each part and 50% overall for unreserved category, with relaxations for reserved categories.
