GAT-B 2022 exam dates announced, registration started for BET as well
GAT-B 2022: The National testing agency (NTA) has released the notification for Graduate Aptitude Test- Biotechnology (GAT-B 2022). The same notification is for Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET 2022) as well. It was released on the 11th of March 2022.
As per the notification released by NTA, the registration process for the Graduate Aptitude Test- Biotechnology (GAT-B 2022)/ Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) 2022 examination will continue till the 31st of March 2022. And the examination is scheduled to be held on 23 April 2022 (Saturday).

Fee payable for GAT-B 2022
The application fees for General (UR)/ OBC(NCL)/ EWS candidates for any one paper are Rs 1200 and Rs 2400 for both the papers whereas for SC/ ST/ PwD the fees are for anyone paper is Rs 600 and Rs 1200 for both the papers.
Important Instructions for GAT-B/BET exam
The NTA has mentioned some instructions for the candidates which read that-Candidates can apply for GAT-B/BET or both -2022 through “Online” mode only. The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted. Also, only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. Multiple Application Forms submitted by the candidate will not be accepted under any circumstances.
What is GAT-B/BET exam?
The Graduate Aptitude Test- Biotechnology (GAT-B)/ Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) is a National Level Entrance Examination for admission to Department of Biotechnology supported postgraduate program in Biotechnology and allied areas in participating Institutions (GAT-B) and for the award of DBT – Junior Research Fellowship (DBT-JRF) for pursuing research in frontier areas of Biotechnology (BET).
