IGNOU admissions 2022: Re-Registration date extended till 10th February

IGNOU Admissions 2022: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the Re-Registration date for the January 2022 session to 10th February. With the approval of the Competent Authority, IGNOU has stretched the last date of registration for the January 2022 session till 10th February 2022. Now fresh candidates can apply online through the official website by creating a new Registration ID.

Earlier as stated in the notification, IGNOU had introduced a new Master’s degree programme on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The programme covers various aspects: CSR fundamentals, CSR process, and its linkages with development, implementation, and handling of projects and programmes corporate ethics, governance, and conflicting resolution. This course is available for both January and July sessions.

Recently, it has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) to provide courses on vocational education and training with higher education. This aims to strengthen the vocational and technical training framework among the Youths of India.

IGNOU Admissions 2022: Fee structure

Students completing graduation can apply for various courses. IGNOU Admissions 2022, gives the opportunity to take enrollment in new courses such as CSR which is a two years degree programme with a course fee of Rs. 14,400/- i.e. for the first-year and second-year fees are Rs. 7,200 per year.

IGNOU had also recently held a virtual ceremony where both the subject Urdu (BAUDH) and Sanskrit (BASKH) were launched. These were included in the list for admission from the January 2022 session onwards and would be new programmes under the Bachelor of Arts programme. The fee structure for BASKH and BAUDH programme is Rs. 3900/- per year plus a Registration fee of Rs. 200/-.
