Moran College Recruitment 2024: The authorities of Moran College have invited applications for the vacant position of Assistant Professor, Library Assistant, and Grade IV in the college. Eligible candidates must submit applications in the prescribed format to the office of the Principal along with complete bio-data and self-attested copies of testimonials from HSLC onwards.

Vacancies of Moran College Recruitment 2024

Eligibility

• Candidates must be residents of Assam and should possess a Permanent Residential Certificate.
• The candidate need to be fluent in the local languages.
• In-service candidates must apply through the proper channel and provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer.

Age Limit

• The candidates’ age to apply for Moran College Recruitment 2024 should not be more than 38 years as of 01/01/2024.
• However, certain relaxations of the age criteria per Govt norms exist for SC/ ST/ OBC/ MOBC/ PwD candidates. The details of the relaxation are given below:

Educational Qualifications

(i) Assistant Professor:

• The educational qualifications and selection procedure for Assistant Professor will follow Govt. O.M. No. AHE. 239/2021/68, dated 24/01/2022, with NET, SLET, or SET as mandatory eligibility criteria.
• Candidates with a Ph.D. degree in compliance with UGC Ph.D. Regulations 2009 are exempted from the requirement of NET, SLET, or SET.
• The candidates must have minimum 55% marks (or an equivalent grade point scale) at the master’s degree level in the concerned subject.
• Candidates with M.Sc. in Biotechnology need not apply for the post of Botany.
• A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided at graduates and Masters level for the SC/ST/Differently abled categories for the purpose of eligibility.
• All required qualifications must be obtained by the last date of application submission. However, M.Phil., PhD, seminar papers, or publications may be submitted at the time of the interview.

(ii) Library Assistant:

• Graduate in Arts, Science or Commerce from a recognize University.
• Candidates must possess a Diploma or Certificate Course in Computer operation of a minimum of three months duration.
• Candidate should have the working knowledge in Assamese and English typing in MS word and Simple Excel.

(iii) Grade IV: To apply for Grade IV vacancies advertised under Moran College Recruitment 2024, the candidate needs to be Class 8th passed.

Documents Required

• Class-X/ Class-XlI Examination, Admit Card/ Pass Certificate/ Marksheet issued by Central/ State Board indicating Date of Birth in support of their claim of age
• Certificates of HSLC to Post-Graduation Degree
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• NOC certificate
• Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC)
• NET/ SLET/ SET certificate
• M.Phil./ Ph.D./ Seminar Papers/ Publications

• Candidates who are interested and meet the eligibility criteria will need to send complete Bio-Data along with self-attested testimonials of their academic qualifications, necessary documents, and a Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) to the following address:

• The application should be accompanied by a non-refundable Demand Draft of Rs. 1,500 for the post of Assistant Professor, and Rs. 500 for the post of Library Assistant and Grade IV.
• The application must reach the office of the Principal within 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement.
• While sending the application form, candidates need to mention their Mobile Number and Email as it is mandatory.
• No excuse for postal delay will be accepted.
• Incomplete application will be rejected.

Application Fees

The candidates applying for Moran College Recruitment 2024 must pay Rs. 1500 for the Assistant Professor vacancy and Rs. 500 for the post of Library Assistant and Grade IV.
