Salary and Benefits

Selected candidates under RBI Non CSG Cadre Recruitment 2026 will receive a starting basic pay as per the grade of the position with additional allowances such as Special Allowance, Grade Allowance, Dearness Allowance, and House Rent Allowance. Grade ‘A’ officers begin with a basic pay of ₹62,500 per month while Grade ‘B’ officers start with ₹78,450 per month. Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

Legal Officer in Grade ‘B’: 21 to 32 years (relaxation for LL.M and Ph.D holders)
Manager (Technical-Civil/Electrical) in Grade ‘B’: 21 to 35 years
Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha) in Grade ‘A’: 21 to 30 years (relaxation for Ph.D and reserved categories applicable)
Assistant Manager (Protocol & Security) in Grade ‘A’: 25 to 40 years (no relaxation)

Educational Qualification

Legal Officer: Bachelor’s Degree in Law with minimum 50% marks and Bar Council Enrollment.
Manager (Technical-Civil): Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
Manager (Technical-Electrical): Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha): Master’s Degree in Hindi/English or related with specified subject combinations.
Assistant Manager (Protocol & Security): Commissioned Officer with minimum 10 years of service in Army/Navy/Air Force.

Experience

Legal Officer: Minimum 2 years of experience as an advocate or law officer or full-time law teacher.
Manager (Technical-Civil/Electrical): Minimum 3 years’ experience in relevant fields after graduation.

Selection Process

Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha): Paper-I (Objective tests on reasoning, English, general awareness, professional knowledge) and Paper-II (Descriptive translation) plus Interview.
Assistant Manager (Protocol & Security): Online objective test covering reasoning, English, general awareness, and professional knowledge followed by Interview.
