RGU Registration 2022: Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) Arunachal Pradesh has released the final dates for the registration for different courses. The University will follow its own entrance examinations i.e, Rajiv Gandhi University Common Entrance Test (RGUCET), Rajiv Gandhi University PhD. Entrance Test (RGUPET) etc for the session 2022-23. Though earlier, it was assumed that the entrance test for each and every Central University would come under CUET-PG, the RGU authorities have decided to conduct their own entrance test.

The undergraduate courses, as decided, would be conducted by CUET-UG. The B.Ed and other special undergraduate courses would be accomplished through the University entrance test. For these courses, the candidates must go through the process of RGU Registration 2022 on the official website. A notice, which was said to be delivered through the EMail, has also been circulated regarding the exemption of 9 Central Universities to admit students through CUET-UG. However, no such final notice has been delivered yet.

RGU Registration 2022: How to apply for the exams?
For RGU Registration 2022 and to apply for any of the entrance tests (RGUCET, RGUPET, etc) follow the given steps laid here:
- Click the official website of RGU
- Click the option Apply Now
- Enter your mobile number
- Select your department and then the course
- Select what type of test you want to appear (RGUCET, RGUPET, etc)
- Give all the details in the Education Details form
- Pay the amount as directed
- Download the form for further reference
About the courses and seat allotted
The university is one of the prestigious institutions in Arunachal Pradesh which has 45 temporary and permanent affiliated colleges under its belt. It provides admission to 26 P.hD programmes and 37 postgraduate programmes. These exams will be conducted through RGUPET and RGUCET respectively. All P.hD courses will accomplish only on the University premises but certain PG courses are available in affiliated colleges as well. Students applying for those courses will be selected by the University itself and at different affiliated colleges as well. It will be decided by the number of seats available and the rank they obtain.
The RGUCET examinations will also be considered for different Undergraduate programmes and certain Advanced/ Postgraduate courses. For Diploma/ Certificate courses, there won’t be any entrance examinations. They will be selected on a merit basis. In case of merit basis as well, the candidates must follow the guidelines and register themselves under RGU Registration 2022 on the official website.

CUET for UG courses
The other UG programmes offered in RGU such as Bachelor’s of Computer Application (BCA), Bachelor’s of Fine Art (BFA), BSc Agricultural and BSc Geology will come under CUET-UG 2022. Many affiliated colleges under RGU have many courses which will come under CUET-UG. They are Bachelor’s of Arts, Science, Commerce (B.Sc, B.A, B.Com), Bachelor’s of Social Work (BSW), BA-BEd Integration Programme and BA-LLB integrated programme. These programmes are completely included in CUET and cannot be applied through RGU Registration 2022.
Fees regarding RGU Registration 2022
The examination fee for last year was 700 for RGUCET and RGUPET. This year also the fees for the RGU Registration 2022 are the same. It is to be noted that the fees are the same for each category. There is no difference in the fees of different categories here.
