Scholarships in March 2022: Different scholarship programmes will be available for the students in the month of March 2022. The Kailash Chandra Mahindra (K.C. Mahindra) scholarships, Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) Start-Up Research Grant, and KOTAK Siksha Nidhi to be new financial assistance for different aspiring students. While the K.C. Mahindra Scholarships would help the students to study abroad, the SERB Start-Up Research programme aims to assist researchers to initiate their research careers in a new institution.
The KOTAK Siksha Nidhi will aim at the poor students with no guardian. The scholarships would help them to uplift their dependence on the family by financially assisting them.

K.C. Mahindra scholarships
This scholarship grants an interest-free loan of Rs. 8 lakhs. Indian students who have secured admission or applied for admission in a postgraduate program starting between August 2022 and February 2023 (inclusive) in foreign universities are eligible to apply. The applicant must also have a first-class degree or an equivalent diploma of a similar standard from a recognised Indian university. The deadline for this scholarship is 31st March. SERB Start-up Research Grant
This grant offers an amount of Rs. 30 lakhs exclusive of the overhead expenses for two years. Candidates holding a Ph.D. degree in Science or Engineering or M.D./M.S./M.D.S./M.V.Sc degree and a regular academic/research position in any recognised academic institution or a national laboratory or any other recognised R&D institution are eligible to apply. KOTAK Shiksha Nidhi
The scholarship aims to assist students to continue their education. Candidates who are under foster care or are primary earning members of the family are eligible to apply. The applicant must be a school or college student between ages 6 to 22 years i.e., Class 1 to diploma/graduation course. The selection and assistance will depend upon the fulfillment of eligibility criteria and will be at the discretion of Kotak Education Foundation. The deadline for this scholarship is 31st March.
