CUET PG 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the commencement of applications for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2024 for admission into the Post-Graduate (PG) programmes. CUET PG will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and this test will serve as a streamlined avenue for students to apply for admission to various Central Universities and other participating organizations, including State Universities, Deemed Universities, and Private Universities nationwide.

The online application procedure started on December 26th, 2023 and the deadline was set for January 24th, 2024, however today NTA released a new notification extending the last date to apply for CUET PG 2024. The new deadline to submit the application form is 31st January 2024. As per the NTA calendar 2024, CUET PG 2024 will be conducted between the 11th and 28th of March, 2024. Eligibility Criteria

• NTA has listed no age barrier to applying for the CUET PG 2024. However, the candidates will be required to fulfil the age criteria of the University to which they are desirous of taking admission.
• The candidate shall clear their Bachelor’s degree or any other equivalent degree from a recognized university.
• Candidates in their last semester of graduation can also apply.
• As the eligibility conditions for admission are unique for every University, the candidates are advised to visit the University website to which they want to get admission and go through the detailed eligibility criteria before applying.

How to apply for CUET PG 2024?

• First of all, candidates need to visit the official website by clicking on the link given below
• Next, click on the Register button given in the top menu bar
• Read all the instructions shown and go through the information bulletin to ensure that you meet the eligibility conditions
• Then, check the tick mark and click on the proceed button to reach the registration portal
• Enter your basic details and get registered
• Log in to the application portal and enter personal details, address info, and academic details and then choose the preferred city for the exam centre
• Now, choose the preferred programme and institute and review the list of test papers you wish to appear in CUET PG 2024
• Upload the necessary documents, preview the complete form and submit it
• Lastly, pay the application fees and download the application form & payment receipt for future reference

Application Fees

• For up to 2 Test Papers, Fees payable by candidates from outside India are ₹6000.
• And for each additional test paper, such candidates will need to pay ₹2000.

Exam Pattern

• CUET PG 2024 will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode only.
• There will be 75 Multiple Choice Questions and candidates will get 105 minutes to complete the test paper.
• For each correct answer, candidates will receive 4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• A candidate can choose a maximum of four question paper codes.
• There would be no General Test with each paper.
• However, candidates can choose a General paper as a Subject. The comprehension part of these papers would be in English or Hindi as chosen by the candidate during registration.
• Languages papers will be in the concerned language except Linguistics which will be in English.
• M.Tech/ Higher Sciences would be in English only.
• Acharya Papers would be in Sanskrit except for Hindu Studies, Indian Knowledge System and Baudha Darshan.
• Humanities, Sciences and Common papers would be bilingual (English & Hindi).
• The CUET PG 2024 examination will be conducted in three shifts.
• In case of discrepancies or confusion, the English version of the questions in the test papers except languages and Acharya, will be taken as final.
