Central Bank of India Recruitment 2025: The Central Bank of India has announced a recruitment drive for the position of Credit Officers in Junior Management Grade Scale I (JMGS I) for the year 2025. They are looking to recruit eligible candidates for a total of 1000 vacancies. Interested candidates can apply on or before the 20th February, 2025.

Vacancies for Central Bank of India Recruitment 2025

Eligibility Criteria

The 3 main eligibility criteria to join as a Credit Officer via Central Bank of India Recruitment 2025 are as follows:

1. Nationality
   • Indian citizens,
   • Subjects of Nepal/ Bhutan
   • Tibetan refugees (before 1962)
   • Persons of Indian origin
2. Age Limit (as on 30-11-2024)
   • Minimum age: 20 years
   • Maximum age: 30 years
   • Age relaxation for:
     • SC/ST – up to 5 years
     • OBC – up to 3 years
     • PwBD – Up to 10 years
     • Additional relaxations for other categories
3. Educational Qualification
   • Graduation in any discipline with 60% marks
   • For SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwBD – 55%
   • The degree must be from a government-recognized university

Selection Procedure

Online Exam

• It will be a mixed-type exam, comprising both Objective and Descriptive questions.
• Candidates will get 2 hours to complete the test.
• The Objective type questions will be from the following subjects
  • English Language – 30 questions – 30 marks
  • Quantitative Aptitude – 30 questions – 30 marks
  • Reasoning Ability – 30 questions – 30 marks
  • General Awareness (Banking) – 30 questions – 30 marks
• Whereas Descriptive Test will comprise Essay & Letter Writing of 30 marks.
• There will be no negative marking for incorrect responses.

Personal Interview

• The interview round will be conducted for 50 marks.
• And the qualifying marks will be 50% for candidates belonging to the General and EWS categories.
• Whereas candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwBD categories will need 45% to qualify.

Final Selection

The final selection of candidates in Central Bank of India Recruitment 2025 will be done based on the combined performance in Online Exam and Interview round.

What after Selection?

• Candidates who get selected under Central Bank of India Recruitment 2025 must complete a mandatory one-year Post-Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) from the Central Bank of India-approved institution.
• This programme will include 9 months of classroom training & 3 months of On-Job Training.
• The course fee needs to be paid by the candidate and procedure of payment shall be informed later. Course Fee will include lodging, boarding expenses and education fee for whole 9 months to attain a Post-Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance and candidate will be given a diploma certificate from the engaged Institute/University by the Bank.
• The course fee is tentatively between Rs 3 to 5 lakhs exclusive of GST.
• The course fees for the diploma will be reimbursed (excluding interest and GST) by the bank after 5 years of service.
• After the diploma is completed, the candidate can join the position on a probation period of 2 years.
• During classroom training, the stipend will be ₹2,500/month and for On-the-Job Training, the stipend will be ₹10,000/month.
