The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has released the official Notification for the recruitment of 558 Specialists in Grade II (Senior Scale and Junior Scale) posts under the ESIC Recruitment 2025 across various regions in India. Vacancies

There are a total of 558 vacancies open for Specialists Grade II (Senior Scale &  Junior Scale) positions under the ESIC Recruitment 2025.

Pay Scale

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

The applicants must be –

• Indian citizens
• Subjects of Nepal/ Bhutan or Tibetan refugees (before January 1, 1962)
• Individuals of Indian origin from specified countries with government-issued eligibility certificates

Educational Qualification

Specialists Grade II (Senior Scale)

• The candidate must have a recognized medical qualification listed in the First or Second Schedule of Part-II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (except licentiate qualifications). Candidates with qualifications listed in Part II of the Third Schedule must also meet the conditions mentioned in Sub-Section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
• Candidates having a Post Graduate Degree in the concerned Specialty as mentioned in Anaesthesia, Bio-chemistry, Dermatology & STD, Oto-Rhino-Laryngology (ENT), Eye (Ophthalmology), General Medicine, General Surgery, Bacteriology/ Microbiology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Pathology, Paediatrics, Pulmonary Medicine, Psychiatry, Radiology, Respiratory Medicine, Cardiology, Cardio Thoracic, Thoracic Surgery, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Neurology, Neuro-Surgery, Paediatric Surgery, Plastic Surgery/ Burns, Surgical Oncology/ Oncology, Urology.
• Candidates must have five years of experience in the concerned specialty after obtaining their first Post Graduate Degree.

Specialists Grade II (Junior Scale)

Candidates must have a work experience in a responsible position connected with the Specialty for 3 years in case of Post Graduate Degree Holder and 5 years in case of Post Graduate Diploma Holder for Specialists Grade II (Senior Scale & Junior Scale) positions under the ESIC Recruitment 2025.

Age Limit

The upper age limit is 45 years as of 26th May 2025, with a relaxation of up to 5 years for Employees’ State Insurance Corporation and Government  Servants for Specialists Grade II (Senior Scale & Junior Scale) positions.

Language Proficiency

The candidates shall have passed middle level examination in official language of the state concerned where the vacancies are notified or if no candidate is available who fulfills the required conditions, selection Board will have powers to recommend candidates who have working knowledge of  local  language for Specialists Grade II (Senior Scale & Junior Scale) positions under the ESIC Recruitment 2025.

Selection Procedure

• The selection will be made based on an interview which will be conducted by the Selection Board for ESIC Recruitment 2025.
• The category-wise minimum level of suitability in interviews will be UR/ EWS-50 marks, OBC-45 marks, SC/ ST/ PwBD-40 marks, out of the total marks of the interview being 100.
• In of two or more candidates secure the same marks in the interview, the following tie-breaking criteria shall be applied in order: Preference will first be given to the candidate older in age.
  • If age is also the same, the candidate who acquired the essential qualification earlier will be preferred.
  • Should both the above factors remain identical, the date of completion of the internship, if applicable, will be taken into consideration.

Documents Required

The following documents are required for the ESIC Recruitment 2025.

• Applicatant’s Photograph
• Educational Certificates
• Caste Certificate (if any)
• Govt. Identity Proof
• For applicants who claim a change in name after matriculation on marriage or remarriage or divorce etc. the following documents shall be submitted-
  • Divorce Deed/ Death certificate in case of re-marriage/ divorce of women.
• In other circumstances for change of name for both male and female – Deed Poll/ Affidavit duly sworn before the Oath Commissioner and paper cuttings of two leading daily newspapers in original (One daily newspaper should be of the area of applicants permanent and present address or nearby area) and Gazette Notification.
• In case of marriage of women, a photocopy of the Husband’s passport showing names of spouses or an attested copy of the marriage certificate issued by the Registrar of Marriage or an Affidavit from husband and wife along with a joint photograph duly sworn before the Oath Commissioner.

To apply for the ESIC Recruitment 2025, follow the steps given below –

• Candidates applying for the ESIC Recruitment 2025 need to fill out the application form provided in the official notification.
• Attach self-attested copies of required documents (e.g., educational certificates, experience certificates, caste/ disability certificates, etc.).
• Send the application in an envelope superscribed-
  • “Application for the post of Specialist Gr.-II (Jr./ Sr. Scale) for [region], Specialty applied for: [specialty]” via Speed Post.
• Submit the application to the respective Regional Director’s address (listed in the notification) by 26th May 2025.
• Ensure the Demand Draft is pinned to the application.
