SSC JE Recruitment 2025: The Staff Selection Commission is setting up a recruitment drive against 1340 vacant posts of Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical). The online registration process has already started and will remain available till the 21 July, 2025. Interested candidates can register themselves online through the instructions contained herein.

Vacancies
The total tentative vacancies under SSC JE Recruitment 2025 are 1340 (One thousand three hundred and forty). The final vacancies post-wise & category-wise, will be made available on the website of the Commission later.
Pay Scale
The posts advertised under SSC JE Recruitment 2025 are of Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted), Non-Ministerial in Level- 6 (Rs 35400-112400/-) of the pay matrix of the 7th Central Pay Commission.
Eligibility Criteria
The age and educational criteria for various posts under SSC JE Recruitment 2025 are given below:
(i) Border Roads Organization (BRO): Junior Engineer (Civil)
- Educational Qualification:
- Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute; or
- Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute/ Board;
- And; Two years of working experience in Planning/ Execution/ Maintenance of Civil Engineering works.
- Age Limit: Upto 30 years
(ii) Border Roads Organization (BRO): Junior Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical)
- Educational Qualification: Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute; or
- Three years Diploma in Electrical/ Automobile/ Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute/ Board; and
- Two years experience in Planning/ Execution/ Maintenance of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering works.
- Age Limit: Upto 30 years
(iii) Central Public Works Department (CPWD): Junior Engineer (Civil)
- Educational Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
- Age Limit: Upto 32 years
(iv) Central Public Works Department (CPWD): Junior Engineer (Electrical)
- Educational Qualification: Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
- Age Limit: Upto 32 years
(v) Central Water Commission: Junior Engineer (Civil)
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.
- Age Limit: Upto 30 years
(vi) Central Water Commission: Junior Engineer (Mechanical)
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.
- Age Limit: Upto 30 years
(vii) Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation (Brahmaputra Board): Junior Engineer (Civil)
- Educational Qualification: Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.
- Age Limit: Upto 30 years
(viii) Farakka Barrage Project (FBP): Junior Engineer (Civil)
- Educational Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University, Institute, or Board.
- Age Limit: Upto 30 years
(ix) Farakka Barrage Project (FBP): Junior Engineer (Mechanical)
- Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University, Institute, or Board.
- Age Limit: Upto 30 years
(x) Military Engineer Services (MES): Junior Engineer (Civil)
- Educational Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University; or
- Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute or University or Board; and
- Two years experience in Planning, Execution and Maintenance of Civil Engineering works.
- Age Limit: Upto 30 years
(xi) Military Engineer Services (MES): Junior Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical)
- Educational Qualification: Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University; or
- Three years diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institute or University or Board; and
- Two years experience in Planning, Execution and Maintenance of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Works
- Age Limit: Upto 30 years
(xii) Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways (Andaman Lakshadweep Harbour Works): Junior Engineer (Civil)
- Educational Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institution.
- Age Limit: Upto 30 years
(xiii) Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways (Andaman Lakshadweep Harbour Works): Junior Engineer (Mechanical)
- Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institution.
- Age Limit: Upto 30 years
(xiv) National Technical Research Organization (NTRO): Junior Engineer (Civil)
- Educational Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institution.
- Age Limit: Upto 30 years
(xv) National Technical Research Organization (NTRO): Junior Engineer (Electrical)
- Educational Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institution.
- Age Limit: Upto 30 years
(xvi) National Technical Research Organization (NTRO): Junior Engineer (Mechanical)
- Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institution.
- Age Limit: Upto 30 years

- A copy of your Aadhaar card, and if the Aadhaar Number is not available, then candidates can submit any one of the following ID proof:

- Visit the official website of SSC using the link below
- On the Homepage, click on the ‘New User? Register Now‘ provided in the ‘Login’ section
- After completion of the registration process, log in to the portal by using your Registration Number and password. If you are already registered on the portal, you can log in directly using previous credentials
- Now, click on the link given to apply in the ‘Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) Examination, 2025’ section under the ‘Latest Notifications’ tab
- Fill in the details and upload the required documents followed by the fee payment
- After completing these steps, download the application form of SSC JE Recruitment 2025 and take a printout of the same and payment receipt for further reference.
Application Fee
- All candidates looking to apply for SSC JE Recruitment 2025 drive will need to pay an application fee of Rs. 100 while applying.
- However, women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of a fee.
- Candidates can pay the Fee through online payment modes, namely BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or RuPay Credit or Debit card.
