NTA has opened the application portal for AIAPGET 2022. The last date to apply for the same is 18th of August, 2022.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently released the notification regarding the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test, widely known as AIAPGET 2022. The form fill-up process is open from the 25th of July, 2022, and will end on the 18th of August, 2022.

Eligibility Criteria
Here are all the eligibility conditions that a candidate needs to fulfill to apply for AIAPGET 2022:
- Candidates may apply for AIAPGET 2022, if they possess BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS/ Graded BHMS degree or Provisional BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS Pass Certificate recognized as per the provisions of the IMCC 1970/ HCC 1973/ NCISM 2020/ NCH 2020 Act.
- The candidates should also have a permanent or provisional registration certificate of BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS/ Graded BHMS degree qualification issued by the CCIM/ CCH/ NCISM/ NCH/ State Board/ Universities/ Deemed Universities and have completed one year of internship or/are likely to complete the internship as per the NCISM/ NCH/ AYUSH notification.
- If a request is received for appearing in AIAPGET 2022 from candidates, who will complete the internship after the notified date or have qualifications not recognized by the competent authority, then their applications will be rejected.
- The dates indicated by candidates regarding 12 months of Compulsory Rotating Internship i.e. starting date, and completion date, shall be treated as final and candidates will be required to submit the original Compulsory Rotating Internship completion certificate at the time of counseling.
- The cut-off date for completion of internship towards determination of eligibility for appearing in AIAPGET 2022 shall be 31st October 2022.Â
- Along with this, some Universities/ institutions have regulations that candidates who are already pursuing any PG Course in their University or another University are not eligible for admission until they complete the course.
- The candidates who are already pursuing PG Courses either through All India Quota or State Quota and are applying for a seat under All India Quota/ State quota seats may confirm the eligibility conditions of that University in this regard.
- And if the eligibility criteria are not met, NTA/ NCISM/ NCH will not be responsible for the cancellation of admission by respective institutes. Such candidates may opt for the subject and the college at their own risk and cost. The eligibility criteria will be as per NCISM/ NCH Act regulations and notifications of the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt of India.
Steps to apply for AIAPGET 2022
- Visit the official website of AIAPGET 2022
- Click on the link saying “Registration for AIAPGET Test 2022”
- Now, click on ‘New Registration’ button and enter basic details
- Once the registration is done, an Application number will be generated; note that down
- Next, log in to the portal using the application number and password
- Fill in all the information part by part and then upload the necessary images/ documents as asked in the website
- Lastly pay the application fees, preview all the details, and submit the form

Everything about AIAPGET 2022
The AIAPGET 2022 examination is conducted each year by NTA. It comes under the Ministry of Ayush. The examination was started by the ministry in the year 2019 with the approval of the Ministry of Education. From that year, each year examination is conducted for the students who want to pursue higher education in Ayurvedic Sciences.
AIAPGET 2022 will be a single entrance examination namely for admission to Postgraduate AYUSH Courses for the academic session 2022-23. It will include the following: All India and State quota seats for admission to MD/ MS/ PG DIPLOMA Courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha & Homoeopathy system of medicine for all AYUSH Colleges, Institutions & Universities/ Deemed Universities across the country. The individual institutes will take no other entrance test to take admissions in these courses.

Reservations
There are reservations for certain categories in the institutions run by Central Government and here are the key points about it:
- 15% of the seats would be provided to the Scheduled Castes (SC) candidates.
- 7.5% of the seats would be reserved for Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates.
- 27% of the seats will be reserved for candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC) Non-Creamy Layer (NCL).
- 10% of the seats will be available for General candidates who belong to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category.
- Each category will have 5% reservations for the candidates with 40% or more disability as defined in Section 2 (r) and (zc) of the Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016.
- In the case of the Institutes run/ aided/ recognized by State Governments, the reservation policy of the respective State Governments shall be applicable.
