Cotton University Scholarship 2022: A scheme to help Economically Backward Students

Cotton University Scholarship: Cotton University has released a notification, on Tuesday, stating about the Mahendra Nath Bhattacharyya and Jaya Bhattacharyya Memorial Scholarship for students studying in 1st year of Higher Secondary classes. The scholarship scheme is explicitly for students coming from Economically Backward Section, and it aims to extend a helping hand for their ongoing studies.
Cotton University Scholarship 2022: Eligibilty Criteria
- The candidate should be a student of 1st year of Higher Secondary enrolled in year 2022.
- His/ her family’s annual income should be below Rs. 50,000.

How to Apply?
All the candidates who are eligible for this Cotton University scholarship can fill out the form, which is attached together with the official notification. They will then need to submit it with a copy of their annual income certificate to the Coordinator, Dr. Maheswar Kalita, Professor from the Department of Assamese, Cotton University. The last date to apply for the scholarship is the 7th of March, 2022.
Awards and Benefits
The Mahendra Nath Bhattacharyya and Jaya Bhattacharyya Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to two students, a male, and a female applicant. This scholarship scheme is sponsored by Dr. Indra Kumar Bhattacharyya, who happens to be the former Principal of Coton College. The grant is Rs. 10,000 for both the selected candidates, and it will be provided at once.
