Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfil the following requirements to be eligible for KKHSOU PhD Admission 2025:
- Completed a Master’s degree after a 4-year/ 8-semester bachelor’s degree or a 2-year Master’s after a 3-year bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent qualification with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
- Equivalent foreign qualifications recognised by statutory authorities are acceptable.
- Relaxation of 5% marks is available for SC/ ST/ OBC (non-creamy layer)/ Differently-Abled/ EWS and other categories as per regulations.
- Candidates with an M.Phil. degree securing 55% marks or equivalent grade are also eligible.
- For candidates after a 4-year/ 8-semester bachelor’s degree, 75% marks are required with allowed relaxation for reserved categories.
Selection Process
The selection for the KKHSOU PhD Admission 2025 involves the following:
- UGC NET (JRF/ Assistant Professor/ PhD) qualified candidates must apply online and will be shortlisted for an interview.
- The final admission is based on the interview performance and presentation of a research proposal.
- Vacant seats after NET-qualified admissions will be filled through an entrance exam for eligible candidates.
- The entrance exam for non-NET candidates will comprise two parts, details of which will be provided by the university.
- The exam and interview schedule will be strictly followed as per the announced dates.
