Oil India Limited Recruitment: 40 vacancies open for Electrician, Mechanic, and Associate Engineer

Oil India Limited (OIL) has recently released a notification inviting applications for Oil India Limited Recruitment 2024 for candidates with the domicile of Assam or Arunachal Pradesh for the posts of Electrician, Mechanic (AC&R), and Associate Engineer (Electrical) purely on a contractual basis for immediate engagement at Field Headquarters, Duliajan.

Oil India Limited Recruitment will be purely on a contractual basis only. The initial period of the above contractual engagement will be 6 months only. Further, the above contractual engagement period may be extendable after the requisite interval for a subsequent period of 06 (Six) months only depending on the departmental requirement, job performance, conduct, physical fitness, etc., as applicable. The total period of the above contractual engagement will be 12 months only.

The applicant for Oil India Limited Recruitment must be with domicile of Assam or Arunachal Pradesh.

Age Limit

• Minimum: 20 years
  Maximum: General: 35 years, SC/ST: 40 years, OBC (NCL): 38 years
• Admit Cards or Pass Certificates or Marksheet of Class 10 issued by the concerned Government recognized Education Board will only be considered valid proof of date of birth. No other document will be accepted as valid proof of date of birth.

Contractual Electrician

• Passed 10th from a government-recognized Board/ University
• Passed ITI Electrician (2 years) from a government-recognized Board/ University
• Must possess Electrical Permit for workmen Part I & II
• Desirable Qualification: 01-year post-qualification work experience Or 01-year Apprenticeship Training

Contractual Mechanic (AC&R)

• Passed 10th from a Government recognized Board/ University
• Passed ITI AC&R Mechanic (2 years) from a government-recognized Board/ University
• Desirable Qualification: 01-year post-qualification work experience Or 01-year Apprenticeship Training

Contractual Associate Engineer (Electrical)

• Passed a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a government recognized Board/ University
• Electrical Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency (Part I, II, III & IV)
• Desirable Qualification: Electrical Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency, Part VIII

Application Process

There is no online application process for the Oil India Limited Recruitment 2024 on contractual engagement for the posts of Electrician, Mechanic (AC&R), and Associate Engineer (Electrical). Interested and eligible candidates need to fill out the Personal Bio-Data in the prescribed format, which is given on the last two pages of the advertisement linked below. Candidates need to bring this bio-data along with the documents mentioned below on the date for the Walk-in-Practical/ Skill Test cum Personal Assessment.

Documents Required

The applicants for Oil India Limited Recruitment 2024, while going for registration and Walk-in-Practical/ Skill Test cum Personal Assessment, candidates need to carry the Original and self-attested photocopy of the following documents/ certificates/ testimonials:

• 1 recent 3cm X 3cm coloured photograph
• Admit Card, Marksheet, and Pass Certificate of Class 10
• Document(s)/ Certificate(s)/ Testimonial(s) of essential qualification, as applicable; relevant Work Experience Certificate
• Valid Caste Certificate (SC/ ST/ OBC), if applicable
• Valid Income and Asset Certificate to be produced by Economically Weaker Sections, if applicable
• Valid Disability Certificate, if applicable
• Valid Discharge Book/ Service and Release Certificate for Ex-Servicemen (Pages containing Personal Particulars and Service Particulars), if applicable
• Any other documents/ certificates/ testimonials from Competent Authority in support of candidature
• No-Objection Certificate from the concerned employer, in original, in case the applicant is working in any organization

Selection Process

• The pass marks of the Walk-in-Practical/ Skill Test cum Personal Assessment(s) will be a minimum of 50%.
• The final selection for Oil India Limited Recruitment on contractual engagement will be done from the candidates who have secured pass marks of a minimum of 50% based on their performance in the Walk-in-Practical/ Skill Test cum Personal Assessment(s) as per the marks obtained in the test.

The venue for the Walk-in-Practical/ Skill Test cum Personal Assessment will be Welfare Office, Nehru Maidan OIL, Duliajan. On the date of the test, there will be a registration process, which will be open from morning 07:00 AM to 09:00 AM.
