Salary and Benefits

• The selected Local Bank Officers under PNB LBO Recruitment 2026 will receive a salary scale of ₹48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2-67160-2680/7-85920.
• In addition to the basic pay, candidates are entitled to Dearness Allowance (DA), City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) or leased accommodation, leave fare concession, medical insurance, retirement benefits, and other perquisites as per the bank’s rules.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality/ Citizenship

• Candidate must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugee who came over before 1st January 1962, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from specified countries with government certificate of eligibility.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 20 years
• Maximum age: 30 years (as on 1st July 2026)
• Relaxations in upper age limit are applicable as per category:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC (Non-creamy layer): 3 years
  • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: 5 years
  • Persons affected by 1984 riots: 5 years

Educational Qualification

• Candidate should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university or institution approved by the Government of India to be eligible for PNB LBO Recruitment 2026.
• Valid mark sheet or degree certificate must be possessed at the time of registration.

Experience

• Minimum one year post-qualification work experience in Clerical/ Officer cadre in Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank.
• Prior experience similar to Scale-I Generalist Officer in Scheduled Commercial Banks may fetch up to two advance increments.
• Proof of experience must be submitted in the prescribed format.

Local Language Proficiency

Candidates must be proficient in the specified local language (reading, writing, and speaking) of the state for which they apply. Those who have not studied the local language in 10th or 12th standard must qualify in a Local Language Proficiency Test conducted by the bank.
