NEET PG 2022 revised dates released, registration dates extended; apply now
NEET PG 2022 Revised Dates: The revised schedule of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for the Post-Graduate (PG) admissions has been released and the last date for registrations is also extended.
National Board of Examination in pursuant to the directions of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) on Friday, 4th February released a notice informing that the NEET PG 2022 exam is now rescheduled to be held on 21st May 2022 and the last date for registration is extended to 25th March 2022.
NEET PG 2022 postponed, Why?
As per the earlier notice, NEET PG 2022 exam was scheduled for 12th March and the last date for registration was 4th February 2022, but a plea was filed by Medical students seeking postponement of the examination as the dates of NEET PG counseling 2021 and NEET PG exam 2022 were clashing. Also, to be eligible to appear for NEET PG candidates need to complete their MBBS internship which could not be completed by many students due to Covid-19 duty, because of this reason many aspiring candidates are not eligible to appear for the exam. Thus, NEET PG aspirants sought an extension in the internship completion deadline and postponement of the examination.
Considering the grievances of the students, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare initially released a notice to postponed the examination by 6-8 weeks, and as a consequence of which the NEET PG 2022 revised dates was released on 4th February 2022.
