ARBAS 2024: Application portal for Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme will close in 2 days

The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (popularly known as SEBA) has recently released the notification for the Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme or ARBAS 2024. The Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme is an initiative by the government of Assam to enhance and motivate meritious students, who have passed the HSLC or Class 10th exam conducted by SEBA with 75% or more marks in 2024.

This scheme was launched in 2005 in memory of Late Anundoram Borooah, the first civil servant from Assam. Initially, through this scheme, Laptops were awarded to students who passed with 60% or more but in recent years, the government has started to award cash amounts instead of Laptops. Following the same for the current academic session, the government has decided to provide Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) to the bank account of every eligible student.

Eligibility for ARBAS 2024

• The students must have passed the HSLC examination conducted by SEBA with 75% or more marks.
• The student must have passed the qualifying examination in the year 2024.

Benefits of ARBAS 2024

• The government will award an amount to all the eligible students under this scheme.
• This year, the government will transfer Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) to the bank account of every eligible student with 75% or more in the class 10th examination.

Document Required

While applying for the ARBAS 2024 scheme, candidates need to keep the following documents with them:

• Admit card of HSLC or Class 10th exam
• Marksheet of Class 10th
• Bank Passbook of the candidate (The name of the Account Holder should be the same as the name in the SEBA Admit Card/ Marksheet)
• Photo
• Signature
• Aadhaar Card

How to apply for the ARBAS 2024 scheme?

• First of all, you need to click on the link given below for registration
• Next, click on the link that says ‘Don’t have an account? Register Here”
• Enter the HSLC Roll number and registration number, as mentioned in your Class 10th admit card
• Now enter the mobile number, registered with your Aadhaar Card and click on the ‘Get OTP’ button
• Check your mobile for a message containing OTP, enter it and submit the registration form
• Once done, log in to the application portal using the username and password sent to your registered mobile number
• Fill in all the details as asked in the portal
• Then upload the front page of your passbook along with your photo and signature
• That’s it, cross-check all the details you have entered and then submit the form for ARBAS 2024
