NEEPCO Recruitment 2025: The North Eastern Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO) has recently released the advertisement for the commencement of their apprenticeship training opportunity under the Apprenticeship Act. Vacancies
- The NEEPCO Recruitment 2025 drive is an apprenticeship training opportunity and not a regular employment position.
- The candidates selected candidates must complete the full 1-year training period to receive the full benefits.

Pay Scale
- There will be no deductions in the stipend. The total amount will be paid during the training.
- There will be no additional allowances like HRA, TA, DA, or bonuses.
- Candidates selected under NEEPCO Recruitment 2025 will have access to company facilities if applicable.
- Candidates will have a chance at gaining work experience at a leading PSU (NEEPCO).

Note –
- After completing one year, candidates will not be automatically absorbed into NEEPCO.
- Therefore, there will be no salary increments. The stipend is governed by Government of India guidelines according to the Apprenticeship Act.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the NEEPCO Recruitment 2025 must ensure their eligibility as per the criteria given below –
General Criteria
- The candidate must be a resident of North East India.
- As of 1st December, 2024, the maximum age to apply is 28 years and minimum age to apply is 18 years.
- However, relaxations provided for –
- SC/ ST – 5 years
- OBC (NCL) – 3 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) – 10 years (additional relaxation based on category)
- Ex-Servicemen (ESM) – As per the rules and regulation set by the government
- However, relaxations provided for –
- The educational qualification of the candidate must have been completed on or after 31st March 2023.
- The candidates must not have undergone apprenticeship training previously for 1 year or more.
- Candidates waiting for final results or currently pursuing their studies are not eligible to apply.

Selection Procedure
- The selection process under NEEPCO Recruitment 2025 is purely merit-based. The aggregate marks of the final qualifying exam of the candidate will be chosen.
- No written exam or interview will be conducted.
- The candidates belonging to the state where the power station is located will be given first preference and if vacancies still remain, candidates from other Northeastern states will be considered based on their merit.
- As for the tie breaking criteria, the older candidate will be considered for the position if both have the same marks.
- Final selection list will be published on the official website.
Post Selection Process
- Only shortlisted candidates will receive an offer letter via email.
- Selected candidates under NEEPCO Recruitment 2025 must accept the offer within the given deadline. If any candidate fails to do so, the seat will be offered to the next candidate in the merit list.
- Before joining the training, candidates must verify their documents and produce a medical fitness certificate as per NEEPCO’s guidelines.

How to apply for NEEPCO Recruitment 2025?
- The application process for NEEPCO Recruitment 2025 varies across different apprentice categories
- For Graduate & Diploma (Engineering/ Non-Engineering) Apprentices –
- Candidates must register on the Student section of the NATS Portal by clicking on the “enroll” button and completing the process.
- After successful registration, candidates will receive a unique Enrollment ID.
- Using that, login to your profile and complete the details.
- Then, select NEEPCO as your desired employer and apply for the apprenticeship program.
- For Trade (ITI) Apprentices –
- Candidates must register on the NAPS Portal by clicking on the “Register” button and completing the profile.
- Search for NEEPCO using Opportunity Codes (Available in the advertisement).
- Select your preferred trade and apply for the program.
- For all the categories, submit the relevant documents in the required format.
- Preview the application, then submit it.
- Keep the application form for future reference.
Application fees
Candidates applying for the apprenticeship training under the NEEPCO Recruitment 2025 drive do no need to pay any application fee at any stage of the application process.
